Full Tour Description
The tour starts with a 20-30 minute orientation session in front of our office on the big open square (not included in quoted tour time). Your guide will be on hand to help you get to grips with the Segway and to make sure you feel comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Budapest.
With everyone ready to ride, we’ll first set out to discover inner Pest, the beating heart of the city, and then down to the river to take in the fabulous views of the stunning Buda Castle District.
Along the way, you’ll see some of the city’s major sites including St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian State Opera House and the tree-lined Grand Boulevard of Andrassy. You’ll also get to see Deak Square, Elizabeth Square, the Great Synagogue, Vorosmarty Square and the Vaci Walking District, the Vigado and Danube Promenades, the Chain Bridge, Széchenyi Square, Parliament area, Liberty Square and much more. To make sure you get the most out of the tour, your guide will be on hand to tell you more about what you’re seeing and answer any questions you might have. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of chances to take photos.
Our Segway tours run with small groups and generally do not have more than 10 participants. This makes them interactive and personal and gives you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide. You can also hit them up for local tips and hints of where to go and what else to do.
We reserve the right to alter and change the tour program without prior notice due to construction, city closures for events, festivals and so on throughout the year.
